Terms of Service

Effective July 20, 2026. These pages are product policies for Venture Hall. They are not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer.

Terms of ServicePrivacy PolicyCommunity GuidelinesYouth & SafetyCopyright

1. Agreement

By creating and registering an account on Venture Hall (“we”, “us”), or by continuing to use the service after signup, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all of our policies, including the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Copyright Notice, and (if you are 16–17) the Youth & Safety Notice. Account creation is your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, do not register or use the service.

2. What Venture Hall is

Venture Hall is an online marketplace that helps people discover builds, teammates, and—when eligibility rules are met—investors. We provide software tools for profiles, build posts, applications, connection notes, and readiness signals.

Venture Hall is not an employer, staffing agency, law firm, investment adviser, broker-dealer, funding portal, bank, escrow agent, or party to your deals. Any work, payment, equity, or investment arrangement is solely between the users involved.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Investor accounts and investor contact features require age 18+.
  • Users aged 16–17 have restricted features (see Youth & Safety).
  • You must provide accurate registration information, including a truthful date of birth.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
  • One person should generally use one account. We may suspend or remove accounts that are abusive, fake, or unsafe.

4. Roles on the platform

  • Venturer: may post builds, invite teammates, browse Explore, and knock on other builds. The same email may also register a separate Investor account.
  • Investor: may browse unlocked builds and connect where the product allows; must be 18+ and complete verification before dealflow.

Role labels are for product organization only. They do not create employment, partnership, or fiduciary relationships with Venture Hall or other users. Venturer and Investor accounts that share an email are separate logins and may not connect or knock on each other’s builds.

5. Intellectual property

© 2026 Venture Hall. All rights reserved. Venture Hall name, logos, signal mark, software, design, 3D artwork, and original site content are owned by Venture Hall or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, mirror, or reuse those Materials except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission. See our Copyright & IP notice.

6. User content and conduct

You retain rights to content you submit (profiles, builds, notes, applications, updates). You grant Venture Hall a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service.

You agree not to post illegal, harmful, deceptive, hateful, or infringing content; not to scrape or abuse the service; and not to use Venture Hall to solicit minors improperly, run scams, or commit securities or labor-law violations. See Community Guidelines for detail.

7. Pay, equity, and investments

Compensation preferences, equity discussions, and investment interest shown on Venture Hall are informational and user-declared. Venture Hall does not verify funding capacity, accreditation, ownership of equity, or the legality of any proposed deal in your jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for complying with employment, contractor, securities, tax, and consumer-protection laws that apply to you. If you need advice, hire a qualified professional.

8. Readiness and unlock features

Product features such as readiness scores or investor unlocks are internal platform signals only. They are not endorsements, credit ratings, investment recommendations, or guarantees of success, funding, or teammate quality.

9. No professional advice

Nothing on Venture Hall is legal, tax, investment, accounting, or career advice. Demo data and sample accounts, if present, are for illustration only.

10. Service availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Early versions may include demo or seed data and limited infrastructure.

11. Termination

You may stop using Venture Hall at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, applicable law, or our guidelines, or if needed to protect users or the service. Provisions that should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venture Hall and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service or from deals between users. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50, if you paid nothing.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Venture Hall against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, your deals with other users, or your violation of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new effective date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where local law requires additional notice or consent.
