This Privacy Policy explains how Venture Hall (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website and related services.

• Account data: name, email, password (stored as a hash), role, date of birth / age band, and timestamps for terms or youth acknowledgements.
• Profile data: city/country, skills, bio, education, experience, pay preferences, investor or founder preferences, and similar fields you choose to provide.
• Marketplace content: builds, applications, progress updates, connection requests, and notes you send through the product.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, to operate and secure the service.
• Cookies: essential cookies for sign-in sessions and similar necessary functions (see Cookies below).

• Provide matching, discovery, applications, and connection notes
• Enforce age gates and role restrictions
• Improve safety, prevent abuse, and debug the product
• Communicate about the service (e.g. security or account notices)
• Comply with law and protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your profile content to train public generative AI models.

• Other users: information you put in public or role-visible profiles, build posts, applications, and notes is visible to the users those features are designed for.
• Service providers: hosting, email, analytics, or security vendors may process data on our instructions when we use them.
• Legal: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect users from serious harm.
• Business changes: if Venture Hall is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, data may transfer subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

Venture Hall is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly create accounts for users under 16. Users aged 16–17 receive restricted features; see Youth & Safety. If you believe we have information about a child under 16, contact legal@venturehall.com.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (such as cookie acknowledgement). These are necessary for the site to function. If we later add optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.

We keep account and content data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion as described below, subject to lawful retention needs.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including password hashing) to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email legal@venturehall.com. You can also update much of your profile data inside the app.

Venture Hall may be hosted or accessed from different countries. By using the service, you understand your information may be processed in locations that may not have the same data-protection laws as your home country. We will take steps appropriate for a product of this stage to handle data carefully.

We may update this Privacy Policy and will revise the effective date above. Material changes may also be highlighted in the product when practical.
